The State of Hip Hop

Hip Hop has played a big role in the Black community because a Lot of its music has to do with our culture and its a way to get your point across and help yourself be heard threw the music witch is done on a regular bases. Hip Hop Provided young African Americans a way out of ghettos because threw their music they gained popularity because people were feeling the music and their message and it help the relate. The message it gave to people was mostly a positive message about their life and what they have seen and been through. Their music spoke to the public about unjust things they had seen and changes that needed to happen to insure a good life for all. A lot of Rappers and MC became respected for what they did because of the hard work and music.
